Meet Cynthia
Cynthia is passionate about helping people thrive through mindfulness. As a busy mom and business owner with a background in corporate leadership, she knows what it’s like to be overwhelmed, stressed, and anxious. Having learned meditation as a teenager, Cynthia has relied on these techniques for many years. Many of these topics are covered on our blog. She began teaching mindfulness in 2018, and completed a 2 year teacher training led by two of today’s most influential mindfulness leaders. Mindfulness is scientifically proven to reduce stress and anxiety while increasing focus and wellbeing. We know it can work for you too.

Helping you thrive with simple mindfulness practices.
Learning to meditate as a teenager changed my life. Meditation helped with stress relief off and on during my career in fashion design. I managed a team of 12, was responsible for $200 million worth in product and worked 60 hours a week. Busy? Stressed? Yep. I get it.
Still, I found myself overreacting to stress. Feeling like I was one step away from losing it. Why didn’t my morning meditation keep me calm until 7pm? I knew there had to be a better way.
Enter Mindfulness.
Mindfulness is paying attention to the present moment. It’s noticing stress and reducing it WHEN IT HAPPENS. With mindfulness we learn to manage negative self talk, address the source of stress and prioritize self care. By becoming aware of our stress level, we keep it managed. We move out of autopilot into control. Once I applied these techniques, my stress level plummeted. My life changed. I stopped overreacting, addressed my stress in a healthy way, brought my anxiety into check and found energy for things that really matter. I became a better partner, employee and mom. So much so that I committed myself to helping others learn to manage stress with these simple tools.
I began leading meditations for my stressed out team. My mindfulness teacher certification came next. 2 years spent training with two of the top mindfulness teachers in the world enables me to be my best when helping others. Last year I completed Mindfulness Mentor training. Already have a meditation practice? This certification trained me to mentor experienced practitioners to refresh or deepen an existing practice. I can also help mentor those new to mindfulness with individualized training.
